In a couple of days I am leaving for what will be my third racecation! My first one was Boston and my second one was Houston. This time I will be going to San Francisco! I am so excited to visit a city that we have never been to before. I am also excited to just get away and run a fun race courtesy of Brooks Running. Thanks Brooks, you ROCK!
I know that there are a ton of fun things to do in the Bay area. I have loved everyone's suggestions! The most important "must do" thing for me is going wine tasting in Napa. I have always wanted to go to Napa. I have been begging to go there for years now.
Some things on my list of things to do are:
Anchor Brewery tour
Golden Gate Bridge + Golden Gate State Park
In n Out Burger (never been to one before!!!)
Ryokos (recommended for awesome sushi)
Can't forget about the expo either :-)
My "type A" self started packing over the weekend. I am literally ready to go! I just need to throw in my make up and drive myself to the airport. Oh, I can't forget to drop off Sweet Tia & Maisy Moo at the sitter's house.....
I am looking forward to just getting away and letting myself re-charge. Training right now is literally kicking my butt. I feel like I need more rest than I have been getting, but I struggle with the thought of taking extra "off" days during crucial training time. I know that this vacation will allow me to let loose and not get so worked up over a training run. I need to have fun too!
So, I guess that I will see everyone next week! I hope that everyone is enjoying the same spring weather that we are in Spokane. I am loving the sports bra/shorts running weather.

Questions for you:
When you go on a racecation do you like to do as many "touristy" things as you can?
What is your favorite thing to do in San Francisco (if you have been there)?
