...and the EAGS are AWESOME

This last weekend was a lot of fun! Saturday I went for a 3 mile continuous run and it was glorious. I actually thought I got to run 5 continuous miles and was bummed when I only had 3, but it was still great. I did a lot of abs and yesterday I lifted. Yesterday I also played my first softball game since high school. Yep, I played a double header softball game and I survived AND it was a lot of fun! I was a replacement since they were missing a player so I am not permanent on the team. I think I need to brush up on my softball skills before I become perm anyways. I am a much better runner.

Saturday was also a very EPIC day on all fronts. The Eastern Washington Eagles STOMPED the Montana Grizzlies in their home opener. It was AWESOME!!!! Mr. Healthy Diva and I went out to tailgate with our friends a good 5 hours before the game started. I got to see a bunch of people that I hadn't seen in years. Tailgating in Cheney is always a good time. Eastern got their brand new digital score board put together just before the big game- it is pretty cool! The players even had new matte black helmets which I loved. When they went out on the field they had their red helmets, but just before the game started to switched to the new matte black ones. Very cool!

EWU ended up playing an awesome game and beat Montana 32-26. Montana is definitely EWU's biggest rival and is usually the biggest game of the season. I have a slight hunch that this will be an awesome year for Eagle football. It is always a great day to be an Eagle, but it is even great with a win over Montana!!!!!
