Post CIM

I am already planning for my life after CIM. I am a slight control freak (SHOCKING!!!) and like to have a plan. I always have to have a plan. I was just telling my hubby the other night that I need to order my 2012 planner, ASAP. I already have dates scribbled on sticky notes for next year. Most people think that it is odd that I still use a day planner, but I prefer it. I like to feel that I am accomplishing something by being able to cross off items on my "to do" list. Can you tell that I am a control freak?

Here is my planner that got me through this last year. I love how it has my name on it, even though most people mistake it for a bible.

First thing on my last after CIM is to celebrate. I am hoping that there will be a reason to partake in such activities. After that I will take it easy for a week or so. Maybe hit up the spinning classes that I have been missing for the last 3 months.....

I have already created a half marathon plan for Houston on 1.15.12. My plan is only 4 weeks long which seems so short in comparison to my recent training plans. My goal at Houston is to run a sub 1:30 half marathon. I know that I have it in my legs and I know if my legs are fresh I can do it!

  1. I, too, am a planner. I, too, have a day planner on my counter by where my phone should be :) Just found out that one of the races I was planning on running next year changed weekends and is now on my son's birthday. Can you guess who was looking up races last night to replace it?? Don't like not having the next years races all planned out. And, as for your celebration?? You will be having an amazing time celebrating! I just know it!

  2. Stars to you for being a planner :) I am not much of one, more of the spontaneous sort. Yes, you should celebrate and you will ;) As for your goal for the sub 1:30, I see this being very achievable for you Miss Speedster :)

  3. What a beautiful planner! Where did you get it? That is so cute that it has your name on it. Don't be hard on yourself for being a planner, that is a good thing! I am also a day planner kind of gal, they make life seem so manageable in the midst of chaos and I really have to see things in order to organize and plan them out. Good luck with your marathon and half marathon!!!

  4. Tasha, you totally have a sub 1:30. Hands down! The workouts that you are doing in training have sub 1:30 written all over them!
