We went to Rock n Roll expo on Saturday and it was a lot of fun! I loved the race tee shirt and I even scored a cool Brooks inaugural Portland Rock n Roll shirt that I loved. It must have been the best one since Saturday morning it was almost sold out.
Don't EVER play ski ball with Cassie- she is a SHARK!
Elvis, in the house
This would be a personal worst for me :-)
Ha! Do I look like a runner? :-)
We each won a cute Brooks shirt

Now I am off to another crazy day of work. Full race recap in the works (with more pictures) and I promise to catch up on everyone's blogs tonight. Have a great day!

Those shirts are awesome! So fun:) I hope you have a great day at work!
ReplyDeleteI thought the shirts were great. Everyone seemed to like them a lot. :-)
DeleteAwesome pics! I am jealous. We were in such a hurry (and the expo was nearly closed!) so we didn't take any cool pics like that. I was staring so longingly at skee ball too - I LOVE skee ball! Can't wait to read your race report!
ReplyDeleteYou and my friend should have a skee ball competition. :-)
Deletehaha love all the fun pics.
ReplyDeleteI wonder how they decide to put up a 2:03 time for the half marathon, maybe that's the average finishing pace, so they figure at least half the people would be proud of that sign haha.
I was wondering the same thing. A 2:03:58 1/2 marathon is a 9:28/mile pace. I guess that could be average...that would be a HUGE PW for me, lol.
DeleteThat expo looks awesome! I am doing my first rock 'n' roll event in July, they seem like a really fun time :)
ReplyDeleteIt was the best race ever, so much fun!!!! I am doing the Seattle rock n roll next month too. I am already looking forward to it! Are you doing the rock n roll in Chicago?
DeleteLove all of the tees! The race tee is really cool! Sounds like a busy weekend, why is it that a million things always happen at once and then the next weekend is (usually) slower?
ReplyDeleteI love the race tee- I already wore it to the gym. I think that it is one of the better race tees I have ever received. I am glad that this coming wkend is MDW. For the first time ever, I have no plans. Soooo looking forward to that!
DeleteAir guitars always = a good time
ReplyDeleteThey are pretty much awesome :D
DeleteI was checking out your pictures on facebook and got super jealous of your special bib! haha
ReplyDeleteI guess it pays to sign up for a race 14 months before it actually happens. I don't think I will do that again though. :-)
DeleteHehe, glad you enjoyed the expo. I plan to linger at the Seattle expo, since we made a world record in and out and Portland. Great pics.
ReplyDeleteThese are really fun pictures :) Sounds like a great expo!
