Friday Night Out

This weekend marks one of the first weekends that Cam and I are both going to be home and not have crazy schedules. I have been looking forward to this weekend for a couple of weeks now. We have plans to go out with a good friend of ours tonight and hit up a couple of new bars on the South Hill.

The Manito Tap House has only been open for a little over a month, but I have heard awesome things about them and they have great reviews. They advertise 40 beers on tap- how will I choose what I want to drink?! Think they have sampler trays on the menu?

Next on our agenda is going to the Hop Shop. This very, very tiny bar has been open for well over a year. I am not sure why we haven't tried them out yet, but our friend who is going out with us has been wanting to have a beer there. The reviews aren't fantastic, but it is within walking distance to the Manito Tap House.

We also might hit up the new Flaming Joe's. They have a couple of locations in town, but the South Hill location is new. I think they are popular for their hot wings. Cam went there last weekend while I was in PDX to run this little half marathon called Girlfriends. He said it was "okay". What does "okay" mean? I guess I might be finding out tonight!

It really doesn't matter where we end up- I am just looking forward to having some fun!
