I am very tired today so I am hoping that I can make it through the week!
Monday:
I pulled a double workout day and I actually liked
it! I had to rearrange my training schedule because of my hair appointment on
Tuesday. That appointment was VERY important. I know that you ladies know what
I mean.
Running workout which was a nice "warm up" pre FGF
Squat thrusters are no joke, but I was proud of myself for toughing out level 4!
I ended up with 97 KB snatches (25#s) too!
Tuesday:
Went for a very easy 4 mile run followed by 15
minutes of core + stretching & foam rolling.
15 minutes of core
Wednesday:
I loved how refreshed my legs felt for this
workout. I really think that doing the double on Monday helped. Tuesday was
truly a recovery day for me.
I would have pulled a double on Wednesday too, but
I felt the FGF workout for the day wouldn’t have been a good one for me to
partake in.
I really don't like 400 repeats, but for some reason this seemed relatively easy compared to the mile repeats on Monday. My fastest 400 was a 1:19!

20 minutes of core and lots of stretching. Kinda my norm these days.
Thursday:
FGF had my favorite component to their workout.
RUNNING! I got there early enough to run 2 E miles before class in a fun little
rain/hail storm.
Took me 11:47 to complete. Used the 35# KB for the KBS.
I did 10 minutes of core during my lunch break. I musta been bored.....
Friday:
I contemplated switching my long run to Friday,
but I am glad that I didn't. I was a little bit sore from FGF and figured that
running 22 miles would be a bit much. Since my parents were visiting, I took the day
off. I didn't have to work either so double bonus!
Saturday:
22 miles all on the TM....yes it was tough! I had
to run early because we had plans with my parents. I figured I would just get
up early like I was going to work and knock it out before everyone got up. My
plan worked brilliantly AND I got to finally watch the season finale of Biggest
Loser and the latest episode of Smash.
Sunday:
I also took Sunday off....probably should have done something. Oh well!
Hope everyone had a great week! Happy Monday!
Anyone do anything fun over the weekend????

Hit my easy target pace of (8:00-8:15). I averaged 8:01. #Boom

ReplyDeleteI wouldn't wanna go home either!
DeleteYour workouts are so inspiring, Tasha! Check out those 400s, speedy speedy! And awesome job banging out the 22 miler on the treadmill. Sorry that the weekend didn't turn out as planned!
ReplyDeleteThanks Laura! I love reading and being inspired by your races and workouts too! So proud of your recent 5k performance. You rock!
DeleteIt's okay about the weekend. We had a little scare, but everything is okay now. :-)
Oh wow! 22 mi on the TM and all those awesome runs. You're a rockstar! I loved TBL finale. So good!
ReplyDeleteThis was by far my favorite season of BL and I have watched all of them. Ali Vincent is from Spokane and goes to my old gym. :-)
DeleteHeck yes! I love saving smash for my workout :) Sorry about the weekend..hope all is ok :/
ReplyDeleteI am obsessed with Smash!
DeleteJust had a little scare, but everything is okay now. :-)
Girl, you are a BEAST! I don't think I could run 22 miles on a treadmill if my life depending on it. Amazing!!
ReplyDeleteHulu helped. I couldn't have done it without it!
DeleteI cannot believe you ran 22 miles on a treadmill!!!! DAMN, GIRL! Go you!!
ReplyDeleteI am still in awe of myself, lol. Hopefully it will never have to happen again. :-)
DeleteA 1:19 quarter! Damn girl--you are smoking right now! And the long treadmill run...could NOT do it. Hats off to you.
ReplyDeleteI have some speed for the track...makes me want to focus on shorter races after this next marathon. Maybe the shorter distances are my thing? Who knows!
Deleteawesome workouts girl! keep up the awesome work - your going to own that maratho :)
ReplyDeleteThanks Lindsay :-)
DeleteI still can't believe you ran that far on the treadmill. You are seriously determined;) I think it is great that you had a rest day Sunday, you have to get them in sometime:) PR'd at the Big Climb Sunday. Awesome event!!
ReplyDeleteDetermined or maybe just stubborn. Call it what you want. :-)
DeleteIt was fun to read about your Big Climb event. Looks like those sticky gloves were worth it!
I love that you are able to associate a hashtag with each workout. I am so stealing this! (Only mine will be #hungover and #sloshy, haha)
ReplyDeleteLol. I could use #hungover for a lot of weekend workouts. Oooops. ;-)
DeleteLove waht a #beast you are :) Nice job with all your workouts, so inspiring. I love finding people who are like me (only you are obviously a teeny bit faster ;) that love to run and do HIIT/FGF type workouts. I really hope I get over that way someday to run with you.
ReplyDeleteThanks Christy, you are so sweet! I hope we can run a race together sooner than later. I might try for the Missoula half this year if I can swing it. Are you thinking about Missoula again?
DeleteThat is a really long TM run Tasha! Serious motivation to get that in. I hope this next week is easier for you, and I'm sorry the weekend with your parents didn't quite go to plan.
ReplyDeleteIt was super long. Way too long to be on a TM. I felt like a little hamster! :-)
